Integration
Verify your MailerLite audience before you send
MailerLite bills around active subscribers and runs automations off the same contact record, so an invalid address can both waste a paid slot and trigger workflows on a mailbox that never existed. Exporting a segment, verifying it with Bounceless, and re-importing the clean file catches bad rows in CSV form before they become bounced or spam-complaint contacts.
How it works
Steps are sourced from MailerLite's official documentation (reference) and have not yet been walked on a live MailerLite account by a Bounceless team member — treat exact menu labels as indicative until this note is removed.
When to run it
Common questions
Who can export subscribers in MailerLite?
MailerLite's export help states that only account administrators can export subscribers. If you do not see the Actions export options, ask your workspace admin to run the export or grant the appropriate role before you upload the file to Bounceless. Import permissions follow the same admin rules documented for Add subscribers.
Does MailerLite charge again when I re-import the same email?
MailerLite does not duplicate subscribers when you re-import an email address that already exists — the system updates the existing record with new field values from your file. That makes verify-then-re-import a safe hygiene loop, but it also means you should exclude suppress-decision addresses from the upload instead of re-adding them as active subscribers.
Can I export from a campaign report instead of Subscribers?
Yes. MailerLite lets you export opens, clicks, or other activity from a campaign report page using the same Export CSV actions. Export that activity file, verify it in Bounceless, and use the results to decide which engaged addresses still look deliverable before you clone them into a new group or re-import them elsewhere.
