Integration

Verify your Mad Mimi audience before you send

Mad Mimi was retired on August 30, 2024, so this guide targets archived subscriber CSV exports — not a live Mad Mimi account. Those migration files often sit untouched for months; verifying them with Bounceless before you import into GoDaddy Email Marketing or another ESP catches decayed addresses that would otherwise bounce on day one of the new platform.

How it works

Steps are sourced from Mad Mimi's official documentation (reference) and have not yet been walked on a live Mad Mimi account by a Bounceless team member — treat exact menu labels as indicative until this note is removed.

When to run it

Common questions

Can I still log into Mad Mimi to export a list?

No. Mad Mimi's public homepage states the product was retired as of August 30, 2024. New sends through Mad Mimi are not available. This guide assumes you already have a CSV export or can request archived data from GoDaddy support — not a live Mad Mimi export button.

Why publish a Mad Mimi integration page after retirement?

Legacy URLs like /madmimi.html still redirect to this guide, and many teams still hold Mad Mimi CSV exports for migration. Documenting the verify-then-import loop gives those files a current hygiene step even though the original platform no longer runs campaigns.

Does Bounceless connect to Mad Mimi automatically?

No. There is no live Mad Mimi API to connect. Verification is entirely CSV-based: you provide the export file, Bounceless returns Pre-Send Decisions, and you upload the clean rows to whichever ESP replaced Mad Mimi in your stack. No OAuth or Mad Mimi credentials are involved.
