XtraBulk built its whole pitch on volume: buy the toolkit once, cheaply, and run your own high-throughput bulk messaging shop underneath the operators charging by the message. For more than a decade it sold that turnkey, whitelabel software to SMS resellers and advertising agencies, growing WhatsApp, social and email marketing modules along the way, with an SMTP email verifier tucked in near the end as one small switch. Today the storefront is padlocked: every route on xtrabulk.com forwards to a cPanel Account Suspended page, and the brand that promised extra bulk sells nothing at all.
Feature-by-feature, sourced
Every XtraBulk row below links to the public source it came from, or says "Not publicly disclosed" instead of guessing. One point per round: a tie means both products cover it, rounds without public information score nothing, and any price rounds in the Pricing band below count toward the same score.

| Feature | Bounceless | XtraBulk | Round |

| Standalone product on sale today | Doorman on the roadmap and deliverability monitoring on the roadmap (blacklist / inbox placement) are on the roadmap — not shipped platform surfaces today | Retired: every route on xtrabulk.com now forwards to a cPanel Account Suspended page, and no XtraBulk product remains for salesource | [ NOT SCORED ] |
| What XtraBulk actually sold | Verification is the whole shop here, not a menu item beside SMS and social tools: each address comes back graded and explained | Self-hosted, whitelabel bulk SMS and all-in-one mobile and social marketing software, sold to resellers and agencies to run their own high-volume messaging shopssource | [ NOT SCORED ] |
| Where the domain leads now | A working product loads right here: no redirect, no suspended account, and no onward hop to chase | Nowhere useful: the domain still resolves, but the hosting account is suspended, and no successor site or forwarding redirect is publishedsource | [ NOT SCORED ] |
| Email verification within the product | The whole product, scored and explained: a confidence figure, its reason codes, and a send, review, or suppress call on every check | Offered only as an SMTP email verifier module inside the marketing suite, with no standalone result contract, accuracy figure, or API spec publishedsource | [ NOT SCORED ] |
| Licensing and billing model | Credits you buy and keep, with no expiry clock and no charge for an unknown result, against a live grid of packs and monthly plans | A one-time, self-hosted software license bought per domain or IP, the discounter model for resellers, never verification credits you spend down (980 EUR one-time per domain/IP license)source | [ NOT SCORED ] |
| Result contract offered to a new customer | Every check closes with a confidence figure, its reasoning, and a plain send, review, or suppress instruction, business catch-all domains included rather than waved through | None of its own: there is no product on sale to contract with, and the suite that once existed is offline | [ NOT SCORED ] |
| Catch-all address handling | Catch-All Evidence takes on B2B accept-all domains directly, running premium deep catch-all domain detection billed at five credits fresh or three if already cached to return a graded confidence, and refunds any deep check it cannot resolve | Not publicly disclosed | [ NOT SCORED ] |
| Real-time signup-form verification | Doorman signup-form gating is on the roadmap, turning a risky address away as it arrives | Not publicly disclosed | [ NOT SCORED ] |
| Blacklist monitoring and inbox placement | Blacklist watch on the roadmap and inbox-placement tracking on the roadmap are on the roadmap — not a shipped bundle today | Not publicly disclosed | [ NOT SCORED ] |
| AI-native access (MCP and agent skills) | An MCP server and agent skills hand an agent the finished call, the confidence, and the codes together, with no glue between the agent and the result | Not publicly disclosed | [ NOT SCORED ] |
Choose Bounceless if
- ✦XtraBulk kept its verifier in a back drawer of a messaging suite; on this side it is the entire storefront, grading and explaining each address rather than raising a bare flag.
- ✦You would rather be handed a verdict than a form dump: each result arrives as a confidence figure, its reason codes, and a clear send, review, or suppress call.
- ✦You want a running product, not a padlocked one: Bounceless sells credits you keep and buy again, where XtraBulk sold a license once and then switched its account off.
- ✦You want form gating and monitoring planned beside verification, with agent access live today: Doorman on the roadmap and deliverability monitoring on the roadmap (blacklist / inbox placement) are on the roadmap; MCP access ships today.
Look elsewhere for bulk messaging software if
- ✦Your real interest was the messaging rather than the list hygiene: XtraBulk sold bulk SMS and mobile marketing software, a trade Bounceless has never entered, so a live SMS vendor is the right stop for it.
- ✦You wanted the self-hosted reseller model: XtraBulk sold its Bulk SMS software as a one-time license from 980 Euro per domain, not a metered verification service.
- ✦You need the messaging modules XtraBulk wrapped around that verifier: the SMTP checker sat inside a suite of bulk SMS, WhatsApp, and social marketing tools, and it is that live messaging engine, not the module, that a working vendor still sells.
- ✦You are hoping XtraBulk itself comes back online: nothing on the domain says it will, so if bulk SMS is the job, a live messaging vendor is the safer bet today rather than a suspended account.
What we won’t guess
Pricing, honestly
Beyond the table
Type xtrabulk.com into a browser today and the door is bolted. Apex, www, and every deep link alike bounce to a cPanel Account Suspended page. The account is switched off with no notice, no successor, and no forwarding address. A capture from earlier this year still shows the site trading, so the lights went out recently, but for a would-be buyer the outcome is the same: nothing to purchase and nobody home.
For most of its run this was a busy place, and worth remembering accurately. XtraBulk sold self-hosted bulk messaging software, a whitelabel PHP toolkit a reseller could install on cheap shared hosting and use to launch an SMS business of their own. The commercial idea was discounting at scale: pay a one-time license per domain, take the bulk rates the platform unlocked, and undersell the aggregators sitting above you. Over the years the kit widened into WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook tools and an email marketing tray, and somewhere in that tray sat a small SMTP email verifier. It was the least of the machinery, never the point of it.
Which is where an old debt on this URL comes due. The bounceless.io comparison that used to live at this address treated that minor switch as the whole product, ranked XtraBulk as an email verifier, left its columns reading not revealed, and hung a price grid beneath its name that was our own credit calculator with the label swapped. A reseller’s SMS toolkit was staged as a verification rival. It was not one, the figures were never XtraBulk’s, and this page keeps none of them.
So a visitor arriving on the dead link has two genuinely separate errands, and only one of them lands here. If the thing you valued was the bulk messaging, the reseller console and the SMS routing, that market is alive elsewhere and this is not it, because Bounceless runs no messaging engine and never has. If instead the thing in front of you is a list of email addresses you already own and a nagging doubt about which of them will bounce, you have come to the right shop.
That doubt is the entire product on this side. A check comes back as a decision rather than a data dump: a confidence figure, the reason codes that produced it, and a Pre-Send Decision printed on every row before the export reads send, review, or suppress. The accept-all business domains a bolt-on checker tends to wave through are graded instead by Catch-All Evidence, Doorman on the roadmap would refuse risky addresses at the signup form, blacklist exposure and inbox placement are tracked from the same dashboard, and an agent can lift the entire scored result over MCP with no translation layer standing between them. XtraBulk parked verification at the back of a messaging suite as a bargain add-on. Here nothing sits behind it, because it is the whole of the thing.

What happened to XtraBulk?
XtraBulk was self-hosted, whitelabel bulk SMS and mobile marketing software, sold to resellers and advertising agencies for well over a decade, first by Best Cairo LLC and, for most of its run, by Alpha Global Services Ltd. Its site added WhatsApp, social, and email marketing modules over the years, then went quiet. Today every route on xtrabulk.com forwards to a cPanel Account Suspended page, with no product on sale, no successor site, and no forwarding address.
Was XtraBulk actually an email verification service?
Mostly no, and the mix-up is worth untangling. At its core XtraBulk was self-hosted bulk SMS reseller software, later stretched to cover WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook campaigns. Email verification appeared only as one SMTP verifier module buried in that all-in-one suite, never a standalone scored product with its own accuracy claim. A retired Bounceless page nonetheless billed it as a rival verifier and hung price and accuracy figures on it that came from our own marketing rather than from XtraBulk, so we leave them off here.
Does Bounceless send bulk SMS or run mobile marketing the way XtraBulk did?
No, and that boundary is the whole reason this page exists. Bounceless is an email verifier, not a messaging platform: it sends no SMS, posts to no social network, and ships no whitelabel reseller console. All of that was XtraBulk's trade, and for it the right stop is a live SMS or mobile marketing vendor. Bounceless picks up only once a list of email addresses is in hand and the open question is which of them are safe to mail.
Why did the old Bounceless vs XtraBulk page list prices?
Because the page that used to sit here borrowed our own numbers and dressed them up as XtraBulk's. The pay-as-you-go credit calculator it showed under the XtraBulk name was the Bounceless calculator, and the competitor's own feature cells were left blank, reading not revealed. It is the same trick we caught on the retired emailyoyo and foundly captures, where our former pricing was relabelled as a rival's. This page carries none of those figures and invents no rate for a vendor that never published one.
Is XtraBulk coming back, or can I still buy it?
Not as things stand. Every request to xtrabulk.com now lands on a cPanel Account Suspended page, and deep links redirect there too, so nothing is on sale and no checkout works. A Wayback capture from earlier this year still showed the live site, so the shutdown is recent, but the domain offers no notice, no successor, and no forwarding address, so we make no claim that it will return.
Is Bounceless a drop-in replacement for XtraBulk?
Only for the sliver of XtraBulk that ever touched email, and even there the shapes differ. Its SMTP module returned a bare check; Bounceless attaches a confidence figure, reason codes, and a send, review, or suppress call to each address, so logic built on a pass or fail flag becomes a graded-confidence policy rather than a like-for-like swap. The bulk SMS and mobile marketing that were the real business have no counterpart here at all, and that half belongs with a dedicated messaging vendor.
Can AI agents use Bounceless directly?
Yes, and the access is built in, not stapled on later. Connect an agent through the MCP server or the agent skills and it collects the same structured verdict shown on screen: the confidence figure, the reason codes, and the send, review, or suppress call, all machine-readable on arrival. Because a suspended XtraBulk forces a rebuild anyway, that agent route can be drawn into the plan from the start rather than retrofitted onto a switched-off host.
